07-15-09_05 John Dildo Alcott, R.I.P.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Here’s something you may not know: The Alcott frog lives for only a few hours but because they have a considerably speeded-up metabolism, they are thought to perceive life at the same pace as a regular frog. They do not know they are just hours from death. This increase in metabolism comes at a price, though. The poor little Alcott frog must eat constantly – and I mean constantly – or they will die.

You frog, that I discover'd today! Where is my map? My map! What is the smell on my urine'd fingers? Why did the sherpas leave without saying goodbye? Who hath gassed, pants-filled scent? How many gin-bottles make a gallon? I have talk'd too long. The yawn is runny and flies are attract'd! And now you are dead! I name you after me: John Dildo Alcott!!!
(poem attributed to John Dildo Alcott shortly before his jungle guides returned to eat him)
